Family Camping Trip

Location: Camp Tomo-Chi-Chi
Date: Saturday August 25 to Sunday August 26
Time: Scouts meet at the church at 8:15 AM to depart at 8:30 AM. Families can leave with the scouts or come at noon for lunch prepared by the troop.
Where: Camp Tomo Chi Chi Knolls 40W095 Freeman Rd. Gilberts, IL 60136. We will depart Sunday morning, after breakfast and clean up. Note- this is a family campout to kick off the new Scouting year. We encourage all scouts and their family members to attend.
Cost: $14 per scout or $20 + food item to share (TBD) per family
What: Camping skills and games.

Please bring a tent and chairs for you family. If you need a tent the troop can help supply one. This event is to give families an enjoyable night outdoors so they can experience what Boy Scout camping is all about – food and fun.
